bascially, post-calibs are all invalid from this point on :/

still laserball at focus (althoug had to change to laser 4 (from laser 9) )
first no filter
then alluxa filter
then omega filter

with omega filter, the corner of the image drops in \u00B5 drastically
chaning laser wavelength doesnt ahve the same effect
tilitng of omega doesn't seem to have an effect

seriously wtf??

putting the omega filter before the obj lens doesnt do it

ok, it really doesnt depend on position or angle of the omega filter
**** disassembled top rail and filter slider  ****

a point of light down in that corner was hitting quite near the edge of the imaging lens

***** rotated Savart back 
the weird bar-like thing from reducing the obj lens aperture rotates
with the cell orientation.

The problem of the omgea filter remains weird, but it does seem to be something
to do with where the light ends up going through the imgaing lens

chaning the img lens focus dramatically changes \u00B5
It was a different lens for may2014, so this could be the major problem
the imaging lens appears to be critical, and the light from that corner is scraping down the edge
of it.
